Need help with Farm Box, or have feedback? We'd love to hear from you.
To help us answer quickly, please include:
- your phone model and its Android version;
- the app version, shown at the bottom of the game's Settings (for example "Version 0.2.0");
- what happened and on which stage, plus a screenshot if you can;
- for purchase questions: the Google Play order number (it starts with "GPA."). You can find it in your Google Play receipt email. Please don't send card numbers.
Tip: the SUPPORT button in the game's Settings opens your email app with our address filled in. We usually reply within a few business days (Korea time).
Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
- Grow: tap a crate to make a new piece of produce. Each tap uses 1 energy.
- Merge: drag an item onto a matching item (same produce, same level) to make one item a level higher.
- Clear the field: merges hit nearby weeds, brambles, rocks, hay, soil mounds and treasure chests. Soil mounds and chests can hide produce or gems.
- Pack: fill each customer's order box with the produce it asks for, then pack it.
- Restore: complete a stage's boxes to restore a part of Grandma Rose's farm. After the tenth stage, keep playing with Market Days.
What are energy and gems?
Energy is used to grow new produce. It refills over time, even while the game is closed (currently 1 energy every 2 minutes, up to 100). When you run out, you can wait, watch an optional video for +25 energy (a few times per day), refill with gems, or buy the Starter Pack if it is offered.
Gems come from stage clears, discovering new items, the daily reward calendar and treasure chests. You can spend them on energy refills, on opening bubbles and on Shovels and Rainbow Seeds. Packing boxes also fills the Gem Jar, which you can open with an optional purchase once it holds enough gems.
How often will I see ads?
- There are no banner ads.
- Reward videos play only when you tap one: for +25 energy, to open a bubble, or x2 on a stage clear screen to double that stage's gem and energy rewards.
- Full-screen ads can appear only after you tap CONTINUE on a stage clear screen, never during play. They start later in the game (currently after stage 6 and about 15 minutes of play) and are spaced at least a few minutes apart. If you watched the x2 video on that stage clear, no full-screen ad follows it.
I bought No Ads. Why can I still see a video?
No Ads removes the full-screen ads between stages and also gives you 100 gems. Optional reward videos stay available, because they give you something you choose, but they only play when you tap one.
If you still see full-screen ads between stages, make sure you are connected to the internet and signed in to Google Play with the account you bought with, then close and reopen the game. It checks your purchases each time it starts.
"Ad not available. Try again later." What should I do?
Videos need an internet connection and sometimes take a few seconds to load. Wait a moment and tap again. You only get a reward when a video plays to the end, and nothing is used up if it doesn't.
I paid, but I didn't get my items.
- Make sure you are connected to the internet, then close and reopen the game. It picks up unfinished purchases when it starts, and each purchase is granted only once.
- Some payment methods take time to complete. The items arrive after Google Play confirms the payment, the next time the game is open.
- If the items still haven't arrived after a day, email us with your Google Play order number ("GPA.…").
How do I restore purchases on a new phone or after reinstalling?
The Starter Pack and No Ads are one-time purchases. Sign in to Google Play with the same Google account, connect to the internet and open the game. It restores them automatically when it starts. There is no separate restore button.
Gem packs and the Gem Jar are used up when you receive them. Their gems are part of your saved progress on the device, so they can't be restored after the game's data is deleted.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are processed by Google Play, so refunds are handled by Google. See Google Play's refund help page.
My progress is gone / can I move my progress to a new phone?
Your progress is saved only on your device. There is no account or cloud save. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes your progress, and we can't recover it. Your phone's own device backup may bring it back when you restore that backup. The Starter Pack and No Ads can always be restored (see above).
How do I turn reminders on or off?
Farm Box can remind you when your energy is full and when your next daily reward is ready. These reminders are created on your phone and send no data.
- To turn them on: tap Remind me when the game offers it on an early stage clear screen, and allow notifications. If you missed it or declined, turn notifications on in your phone's settings: Settings → Apps → Farm Box → Notifications.
- To turn them off: use the same phone setting: Settings → Apps → Farm Box → Notifications. On Android 12 and earlier, notifications are on by default.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
If a privacy message applies where you live, the game's Settings shows a PRIVACY CHOICES button where you can review or change your ad choices, including opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information for Google ads. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). The game also sends gameplay statistics to Google Firebase and a few events to Meta. See the Privacy Policy for what these are and what you can control.
Do I need an account? How do I delete my data?
No account is needed. We don't run game servers, and your progress is stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the game, or Settings → Apps → Farm Box → Storage → Clear storage, deletes it.
The game's analytics, ad and measurement services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob and Meta) keep some information about your app installation. Because there is no account, we usually can't tell which records are yours. Email kimsol@solmatter.kr with the subject "Privacy request", and include your Google Play order number if you made a purchase. We will tell you what we can find and delete. See Accessing and deleting information for details.
