Pieceful 운영자(이하 “Pieceful”)는 부모가 아이의 일상을 사진, 음성, 텍스트로 기록하고 이 iPhone 안에서 이야기로 정리할 수 있도록 서비스를 제공합니다. Pieceful은 개인정보 보호를 중요하게 여기며, 처리하는 정보와 목적, 보관 및 삭제 방식을 아래와 같이 공개합니다.

1. 처리하는 개인정보

Pieceful은 광고 식별자를 수집하지 않으며 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 비밀번호, 인증 토큰, Google·Apple authorization code는 저장·분석·로그하지 않습니다.

3. 아동 정보와 가족 기록

Pieceful은 부모가 자녀에 대해 작성한 기록을 처리합니다.

가족 기록은 기기의 Pieceful 저장소에 보관됩니다. iCloud를 사용할 수 있으면 사용자 본인의 iCloud 비공개 데이터베이스 (iCloud.com.pieceful.native)에 동기화됩니다.
직접 첨부한 사진·프로필 사진·음성은 정규화와 용량 제한 후 앱 전용 파일 또는 CloudKit 자산으로 저장될 수 있습니다. Photos 원본은 수정하거나 삭제하지 않습니다.
이야기 제안, 음성의 글 변환과 사진 순간 묶기는 모두 이 iPhone 안에서 처리합니다. 기록의 사진·음성·텍스트 내용은 Pieceful이나 AI 제공업체로 전송하지 않습니다.
Apple Intelligence를 지원하는 iPhone(iOS 26 이상, iPhone 15 Pro 이상, Apple Intelligence 켬)에서는 사용자가 이야기에 담기를 열 때 시스템의 기기 내 언어 모델이 저장된 기록 하나의 주제, 제목과 한 문장 요약을 제안합니다. 사용자가 확인하거나 고친 뒤에만 저장됩니다. 그 밖의 iPhone에서는 제안 없이 사용자가 직접 제목과 글을 쓰고 주제를 고릅니다.
음성의 글 변환은 Apple의 기기 내 음성 인식(iOS 26 이상 지원 기기)을 사용하며 녹음을 업로드하지 않습니다. 지원하지 않는 기기에서는 녹음을 음성 그대로 보관합니다.
사진 순간은 촬영 시각과, 있는 경우 위치를 기기 메모리에서만 비교하는 규칙으로 묶습니다. 사진 데이터·촬영 시각·위치는 Pieceful이나 AI 제공업체로 전송하지 않습니다. 사진 카드의 장소명은 사용자가 프로필에서 사진 위치 사용을 직접 켠 경우에만 Apple이 iOS에 제공하는 역지오코딩으로 만듭니다.
Pieceful은 아동으로부터 직접 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 부모는 아래 권리 행사 방법으로 아동 관련 기록의 열람·삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다.

위 기능에는 계정이 필요하지 않으며, 새로 시작하는 사용자는 로그인할 필요가 없습니다. Google·Apple 로그인은 이전 Pieceful에서 남긴 기록 가져오기, 그 서버 계정과 데이터의 삭제, 서버 데이터 내보내기와 해당 계정의 보안 관리에만 쓰는 control plane 경계입니다. 이 앱에서 만든 가족 기록은 Pieceful API의 일반 콘텐츠 데이터베이스로 이동하지 않습니다.

이전 버전(2.x)을 쓰고 있는 경우

이 방침은 Pieceful 3.0.0 이상에 적용됩니다. 3.0.0으로 업데이트하기 전의 Pieceful 2.x는 사용자가 남긴 사진·음성·텍스트를 Pieceful 서버(Google Cloud, Supabase)에 저장하고, 기록 정리와 요약을 위해 Google Cloud의 Vertex AI(Gemini)로 처리합니다. 이 서버 저장과 AI 처리는 2.x를 쓰는 동안에만 이루어지며 3.0.0부터는 하지 않습니다. 2.x에서 서버에 저장된 기록은 3.0.0에서 로그인해 기기로 가져오거나, 내보내거나, 계정과 함께 삭제할 수 있습니다.

보존 목적이 끝난 전자 파일은 복구가 어렵도록 삭제합니다. 다른 법령이 일정 기간의 보존을 요구하면 해당 정보는 다른 목적에 사용하지 않고 분리 보관한 뒤 기간 종료 시 삭제합니다.

모든 앱 데이터 삭제는 기기와 private CloudKit의 Pieceful 기록 및 앱 소유 미디어를 삭제합니다.
Pieceful 계정 및 데이터 삭제는 최근 로그인 확인 후 위 기록과 계정, 서버 보조 데이터, 약관 동의 증적, 현재 계정 상태를 삭제합니다. Apple 계정은 가능한 경우 Apple 토큰 철회도 요청합니다.
보안 감사 로그에는 원문 UID 대신 서버 비밀키 기반 HMAC 식별자만 남기며, 일반 계정 데이터와 분리하고 위 기간 후 전용 보존 삭제 절차로 제거합니다.
Photos 라이브러리 원본은 Pieceful 계정 삭제 대상이 아닙니다. App Store 구매 내역은 Apple이 관리하며 Pieceful이 삭제할 수 없습니다.

5. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전

서비스 제공을 위해 다음 사업자의 인프라를 사용합니다. 전송은 암호화된 네트워크를 통해 서비스 이용 시 수시로 이루어지며, 각 정보는 이 방침의 보관 기준 또는 수탁자 정책에 따라 삭제됩니다.

국외 이전을 원하지 않으면 계정을 연결하지 않고 선택적 사용 정보 공유를 꺼 둔 채 이용하거나, 이미 연결한 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 필수 인증·저장 인프라 이전을 거부하면 해당 기능 제공이 어려울 수 있습니다.

6. 정보주체의 권리와 행사 방법

사용자는 언제든지 개인정보 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지와 동의 철회를 요구할 수 있습니다. 앱의 계정 보안·내보내기·삭제 기능을 사용하거나 kimsol@solmatter.kr으로 요청할 수 있습니다. Pieceful은 본인 확인 후 관련 법령이 정한 기간 안에 처리 결과를 안내합니다.

계정이 제한·정지·종료된 상태에서도 정책 열람, 데이터 내보내기, 계정 삭제, 로그아웃과 이의 제기 수단을 제공합니다. 운영 조치 이의는 kimsol@solmatter.kr으로 접수할 수 있습니다.

7. 안전성 확보 조치

기기 저장소의 완전한 파일 보호와 사용자 private CloudKit 동기화를 사용합니다.
인증·계정 API는 Firebase ID token과 App Check를 검증하고, 업무 기능은 현재 약관 동의와 계정 상태를 확인합니다.
운영자와 대상 UID는 서버 비밀키 기반 HMAC으로 가명처리합니다. 분석 식별자는 SHA-256 해시 후 최소 길이만 전송합니다.
약관 문서의 버전과 SHA-256이 서버·앱 번들 사이에 일치하지 않으면 계정 기반 업무 기능을 차단하되 내보내기·삭제 권리는 유지합니다.
운영자 도구는 최소 권한과 역할 분리, 재확인, 변경 불가능한 감사 기록을 적용하며 아동 기록·사진·음성·텍스트 조회 기능을 제공하지 않습니다.
예기치 않은 저장 실패는 fail closed로 처리하고 인증 비밀과 원문 개인정보를 애플리케이션 로그에 기록하지 않습니다.

8. 방침 변경

중요한 변경은 시행일 최소 7일 전에 앱 또는 공개 페이지로 알립니다. 이용 목적, 수집 항목, 제3자 제공처럼 사용자 권리에 중대한 변경은 최소 30일 전에 알리고 필요한 경우 새 버전에 대한 확인 또는 동의를 받습니다. 이전 버전과 시행일은 공개 기록으로 관리합니다.

The operator of Pieceful ("Pieceful," "we," or "us") provides an app that helps parents record a child's everyday moments in photos, audio, and text and organize them into stories on this iPhone. This policy explains the information we process, why we process it, and how it is retained and deleted.

1. Information we process

Pieceful does not collect advertising identifiers or sell personal information. We do not store, analyze, or log passwords, authentication tokens, or Google or Apple authorization codes.

2. Purposes of processing

Create, store, search, export, and delete photo, audio, and text records
Suggest story details, turn audio into text, and group photo moments, all of which happen only on this iPhone
Provide record and story notifications selected by the user
Authenticate Google and Apple accounts to bring over records from the earlier Pieceful, delete the server account and its data, and export server data, and recover or secure legacy email accounts
Prevent duplicate requests and abuse of account features
Verify versions of required terms and privacy policies and retain proof of acceptance
Apply account restrictions, notify users, handle appeals, and respond to security incidents
Improve quality using pseudonymized analytics and diagnostics when the user has turned on usage sharing

3. Children's information and family records

Pieceful processes records that a parent creates about a child.

Family records remain in Pieceful's protected storage on the device. If iCloud is available, they sync to the user's private iCloud database (iCloud.com.pieceful.native).
Direct attachments, profile photos, and audio may be normalized and stored as size-limited app-owned files or CloudKit assets. Pieceful does not modify or delete originals in Photos.
Story suggestions, audio-to-text, and photo-moment grouping are all processed on this iPhone. The photo, audio, and text content of a record is not sent to Pieceful or to an AI provider.
On an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later, iPhone 15 Pro or later, Apple Intelligence turned on), the system's on-device language model suggests a topic, a title, and a one-sentence summary for one saved record when the user opens Add to a story. Nothing is saved until the user confirms or edits it. On other iPhones the user writes the title and text and picks the topic without suggestions.
Audio-to-text uses Apple's on-device speech recognition (supported devices on iOS 26 or later) and does not upload the recording. Unsupported devices keep the recording as audio.
Photo moments are grouped by a rule that compares capture time and, if present, location in device memory only. Photo data, capture time, and location are not sent to Pieceful or to an AI provider. A place name for a photo card is derived with the reverse geocoding Apple provides in iOS, and only after the user turns on the photo-location setting in Profile.
Pieceful does not collect information directly from children. A parent can use the rights described below for a child's records.

None of the features above needs an account, and new users never need to sign in. Google and Apple sign-in form the control-plane boundary used only to bring over records from the earlier Pieceful, delete that server account and its data, export server data, and manage security for that account. Family records created in this app are not moved into Pieceful's general API content database.

If you still use the earlier version (2.x)

This policy applies to Pieceful 3.0.0 and later. Pieceful 2.x, the version before the 3.0.0 update, stores the photos, audio, and text you record on Pieceful servers (Google Cloud and Supabase) and processes them with Vertex AI (Gemini) on Google Cloud to organize and summarize records. That server storage and AI processing happen only while you use 2.x and stop with 3.0.0. Records that 2.x stored on the server can be brought to your device, exported, or deleted together with the account after signing in on 3.0.0.

4. Retention and deletion

When a retention purpose ends, electronic files are deleted so that recovery is impracticable. Records required by law are separated, not reused for unrelated purposes, and deleted when the required period ends.

Delete all app data deletes Pieceful records and app-owned media on the device and in the user's private CloudKit database.
Delete Pieceful account and data verifies recent sign-in, then deletes those records, the account, server metadata, policy receipts, and current account state. For Apple accounts, Pieceful also attempts token revocation when possible.
Security audit records contain a server-secret HMAC instead of a raw UID and are separated from ordinary account data, then removed through a dedicated retention process after the period above.
Original Photos assets are outside Pieceful account deletion. App Store purchase history is managed by Apple and cannot be deleted by Pieceful.

5. Processors and international transfers

We use the providers below to operate the service. Transfers occur over encrypted connections as the service is used. Information is deleted under this policy or the applicable provider's retention controls.

Users who do not want an international transfer may use the app without connecting an account and with optional usage sharing left off, or delete an account they have already connected. Refusing a transfer required for authentication or storage can make the corresponding feature unavailable.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent at any time. Use the account security, export, and deletion controls in the app or email kimsol@solmatter.kr. We verify the requester and respond as required by applicable law.

Policy access, export, account deletion, sign-out, and an appeal channel remain available even when an account is restricted, suspended, terminated, or missing policy acceptance. Appeal an account action at kimsol@solmatter.kr.

7. Security

Pieceful uses complete file protection on the device and the user's private CloudKit database for sync.
Account APIs validate Firebase ID tokens and App Check. Business operations also verify current policy acceptance and account status.
Operator and target identifiers are pseudonymized with a server-secret HMAC. Analytics identifiers are minimized after SHA-256 hashing.
If the server policy version and SHA-256 do not match the bundled app document, account-based business operations fail closed while export and deletion remain.
The admin tool uses least privilege, role separation, confirmation, and an immutable audit trail. It cannot display child records, photos, audio, or text.
Unexpected persistence failures fail closed, and application logs exclude authentication secrets and raw personal information.

8. Changes to this policy

We provide at least seven days' notice of material changes in the app or on the public policy page. Changes that materially affect user rights, such as new purposes, categories, or disclosures, receive at least 30 days' notice and a new confirmation or consent when required. Previous versions and effective dates are kept in the publication record.
